The 10th edition of the Nepal European Union Virtual Film Festival starts today.
The festival, organised by The Delegation of the European Union to Nepal, from 17 September to 25 September, will premiere 11 European films, five Nepali films, and 23 films based on the theme of environmental conservation and climate change.
According to the organisers, this year’s festival will be streamed on the virtual streaming platform Festival Scope and people can watch the films for free by creating an account on the platform.
Dhondup Tsering’s ‘Aama Khando’, Binod Paudel’s ‘Bulbul’, Sahayek Shreeman’s ‘Co-Husband’, Sergio Basso’s ‘Sarita- Tell Me Who I am’, and Rajan Kathet’s ‘Split Ends’ are the Nepali films that will be shown at the festival.
Besides that, many events and interactive sessions are planned throughout the festival, and renowned filmmakers and artists from both Nepal and several European countries will talk about different aspects of filmmaking.
