The Bangor Daily News shared a University of Maine news release highlighting the results of a new study of tourism and climate change in Acadia National Park led by former UMaine Ph.D. student Lydia Horne. The study revealed that communicating understanding the impacts of climate change on park visitation can help conserve natural resources, maintain quality visitor experiences and provide economic benefits to adjacent communities.
