The High Impact Initiative on food systems will focus on the mobilization of finance, science, data (including geospatial platforms), innovative solutions and robust policy and governance mechanisms to support food systems transformation.
The session aims to mobilize means of implementation to assist countries in the implementation of national pathways and to expand commitments from Member States to prioritize their journey of food systems transformation to ensure food security and healthy diets for all in sustainable food systems to deliver for people and the planet. For this purpose, it is important for sustainability to be addressed holistically by all actors, aiming for food systems that generate positive economic, social and environmental values.
