Invasive plants and animals number one threat to Australia’s biodiversity: CSIRO – RN Breakfast

Australia’s rich plant and animal biodiversity is facing threats on many fronts, but the number one threat is invasive weeds and animal pests.

CSIRO scientists and the Centre for Invasive Species Solutions is warning that without urgent action, even more unique flora and fauna will disappear in the coming decades.
