Environmental Center history 

The E-Center at CU Boulder has a rich history. Founded in 1970 by students, it’s the nation’s longest-standing and most accomplished student-led center of its kind. For over 50 years, the E-Center has helped our campus become a climate justice national leader. 

Sustainable Buffs Community 

If you want to live more sustainably, but aren’t sure where to start, join the Sustainable Buffs Community. The E-Center can help you learn llifestyle tips, get involved, learn about climate justice and even develop skills you can use in the future. As a Sustainable Buff, you can explore opportunities for self-paced engagement, community building, knowledge and leadership in sustainability.

We can all do our part to promote sustainability each day. Small acts can lead to significant change. You can incorporate new habits, learn ways to improve our campus programs and even save money with tips on becoming more sustainable.
